Skinner Bluff (Bruce Trail)
May 7 Spring Hike on part of the Bruce Trail East of Wiarton
We entered the trail at the Bruce Caves
The trail is flat and easy to walk. The entire loop will take more than three hours. We walked to the first lookout and back in less than two hours. The trail could be mountain biked but the Bruce Trail does not like this activity.
Note: The lookout did not have a trail. We could see a railing and clearing at the edge of the cliff where the Bruce Trail came within 300 feet of the cliff. A local photographer probably made it.
In the spring the flowers are everywhere in the bush. Photography will be great during fall colours. |
