Rural Rocks
Rural Rocks is quite a unique 4km trail. Normally the Bruce Trail is on the top of the escarpment. The first part of this trail is more like the bottom of one of the bluffs. You will be expected to climb up and down large rocks and crevasses. Go to the Rural Roots house and start your hike if you would like to bypass the intermediate level of climbing.
There is a lot of wildlife. I suspect that most of the species of the Bruce live in this bush. I never saw any of them but I could read their tacks. All the years of hiking the Bruce I have never seen a predator. If you are concerned, pepper spray works well.
